Unapparent Thoughts

Thoughts and feelings flow through us from sources that are not always apparent.  We all have very common core beliefs, many of which are not even conscious.  Some of them create momentum in our lives, and some of them don’t.  The ones that don’t inspire action tend to turn inward and become very self-focused and often self-judging.  If we don’t learn to question them, and instead just believe them, then they own us.  They “drive the bus.”  It doesn’t take a lot take a moment to simply ask yourself “Is this true?” or “Is there another way of looking at this that might be more useful?”  If we don’t learn to own our minds, then they own us.  That can create lots of difficult situations to learn from.

Nice spin, huh?
