Our self-criticism often elicits a strong reaction to oppose it. The trouble is that opposition itself is energetic food. It makes the opposed thing stronger.
We all have the same challenge of what we can call loving ourselves, which doesn’t mean be inspired to grow. It simply recognizes that we are not simply physical or emotional beings. We are what some would call “spiritual” or “energetic.”
All people’s heroic stories have one thing in common (beyond encountering a challenge): the return to self. A “re-membering” of self and establishment of what we can call “wholeness.” And it is then that we become most equipped to be fulfilled and deliver real value to everyone around us.
